Appendix, trivia –

Transformers are –
#1. Vigortronix VTX-146-120-224, 120 VA, 2 x 24V @ 2.5A (main circuit supply)
Wired as: 0 – 48VAC
Fuse: inline, 2.5A
Rectifier: GBJ 2510 (bridge, SIL)
Reservoir cap Volts: 74V DC, no external load.


#2. Vigortronix VTX-146-015-224, 15 VA, 2 x 24V @ 320 mA (control circuits' supply)
Wired as: 24 – 0 – 24V (48V CT)
Fuses: inline, 400 mA x 2 (each end of + & – 24V)
Rectifiers: 4 x 1N4002 (as bridge with centre-tap)
Reservoir cap Volts: +34V DC & –36V DC.

Mains side fuse: inline, 2A, + inrush limiter.

Transformers include thermal fuses.

Had to recalibrate the Voltmeter. For the 10V scale this is done by adding a low value resistor in series. I don't know where I got the idea from that it should be 20 Ω. :oops: More like 100 Ω. Actually, it IS 100 Ω.

That being done, the 50V scale was reset (twiddle preset), and readings are a lot more accurate now.
