That much capacitance for a phono stage will do much the same job as regulators.

Fair enough. Must be bigger than Coke cans those caps
I have gone the other way ie Stageline to NVA. Still got the Naim Stageline but i can't remember a thing about how it sounded. I remember they have an RC filter on the power rail input. Bake off time.

I think I prefer discrete to op amps based on my DIY efforts with phono stages.
Yep , there big blue ones in a separate power supply hid behind a bookcase
