That much capacitance for a phono stage will do much the same job as regulators.but I just use two 350va transformers ,2 33,000uf caps per rail and 1 bridge
Split rail from two positive regulators

Little known fact, coherent thought can destructively interfere with itself leaving no thought at all, that’s why I prefer incoherent thought.

Fair enough. Must be bigger than Coke cans those capsDaniel Quinn wrote: ↑Mon Jan 16, 2023 7:10 pm Yes it is a clone of the stage line.
I've got about 8 phono stages including the nva , personally I prefer the naim over the nva
.
.you can buy regulators for it , but I just use two 350va transformers ,2 33,000uf caps per rail and 1 bridge

I have gone the other way ie Stageline to NVA. Still got the Naim Stageline but i can't remember a thing about how it sounded. I remember they have an RC filter on the power rail input. Bake off time.

I think I prefer discrete to op amps based on my DIY efforts with phono stages.
Yep , there big blue ones in a separate power supply hid behind a bookcase
