Is the speed now good enough for you to be happy to carry on using this laptop?

Have you debloated Windows?

For example by running the script from this page:

The laptop I used is mine, which was never "slow" as such, but I do appreciate the quicker response. Boot up time was not a problem as after switching it on in the morning I make a hot drink before browsing.

The laptop I want to speed up is Jeans, I was doing mine as a test run.

I'll give the Windows bloat thing some thought, thanks for the link. :)
