seas FA22 and fostex ft17....43ltrs sealed.

I remember going to the first(and only, as far as I know) diyaudio get together in 2007. I took my vofos and F2. All was well until I heard a pair of traingular cabinets with Jordan jx92s. I thought they were awesome. They've haunted me ever since, an itch that deffo needed scratching.

I remember those Ed, nice sound as I recall.
It's funny how you hear or see something that gets under your skin and you can spend years thinking and planning your version.

I'm the same with one of Olson designs, I'm sure one day I'll build that !

Interesting challenge ed, not easy. Perhaps some wedges temporarily glued to the edges to allow clamps to fasten across the joins? I've seen it done for tricky angles though never tried it. Perhaps not ideal for the surface finish though.

When you've mastered triangles I think you should have a go at pentagons :-).

Only time ive ever done triangular boxes (not speakers, a little cupboard thing to fit in a corner) i ended up using some stanley fabric band clamps. Had to take the plastic 45 degree corner parts off the strap and make a little v of the right angle to fit into the clamp part so it would tighten on one corner and pull the other 2 in
Never again

did you not spot the wedges Simon? They are legion!
the one waiting in the wings is the trapezoid, all 12.5 degree stuff...watch this space.

I meant on the outside ed, a couple of 30 degree wedges fixed with hot melt glue. Then the corners can be clamped up simply on the outside. But I'd probably just screw the panels together using your internal wedges :-D.
