Not sure if we've even got a filament bulb anymore...

With the GZ33 taken out of the PS so no HT the fuse still blew. That leaves the driver and 45 AC heating. I'd be a little surprised if I've cocked that up, but there's something bad somewhere.

I'm not very sharp at the moment but a big bag of fuses arrived this afternoon so I might have another poke around tomorrow.

I had something similar on the pp 2a3 i built years back except there was no fuse, so the cathode resistor on one of the 2a3s kept blowing, going cherry red and failing. Turned out it was a strand of the heater wiring contacting one if the bolts holding the socket to the chassis plate and shorting.
Took ages to trace it
Ive used solid core rather than stranded since

Funny you should say that, I've a horrible feeling one of the 45s might be duff. Hopefully it's just my dodgy wiring.

I guess trying without the 45's plugged in would be the next test.

Agreed. I intend to check the 5751 heaters first, then add HT, then one of the 45s.

Not sure Ray, will confirm beforehand
But I expect around the usual £ 15 to 20 ish..

The're new landlords since last year, so waiting to have the menu and costs confirmed

They did ask how many would be eating there on Friday evening for a pre order of food.
They are going to send me a menu
Hopefully we can help them out ?

Been away a while,
Hopefully Greg's been keeping off the sauce and He's ok.

Last time I popped down He was a bit abusive from the get go at 'night before meal' in the Pub.
If your there Greg, first Beers on me.
