#1 FS: Pye P75 radio

Post by ed »

prompted by Paul's recent travail regarding his ancient radio, I thought about this gathering dust. It's exactly the same age as me, but I think, in better condition. I used it for the cricket up until last year when I switched to 5 live sport on the dab radio. It could do with a thorough service but other than that it works well.

There are a couple for sale on ebay at the mo, but I thought £20 plus p&p was reasonable..anybody interested?

It looks all warm and crumbly but here's a thing... I scanned the short wave bands and even medium wave, trawler and airline and its almost all silent.

Now, I would love to hear that shortwave sideband or something would give me the wonderful world of radio I simply fell in love with even in th 1960s but I reckon its all gone.
