Still recovering but on the mend, the wounds itch now, a good sign.

Im leaving steri strips stuck to wound as if I tear them off it will open again. A 1” patch close to the eye would have no skin if I removed them. Patience Paul.

Was mocked out, memory fences more than usual and judgement impaired. I’ve walked straight out into the road without thinking. Banned myself from driving until my special awareness comes back. I’m also too confused to go into customers houses.

CT scan clean as a whistle so don’t think I’ve had a tia, but why I fell isn’t in my current knowledge bank. I fell from a height of 6ft probably unconscious for unknown reason as head pulls you that way, no one deliberate dives head first onto asphalt path.

When these pictures were taken I was in shock: look at my pupils!

Casualty, I can’t fault, I got the consultant and he debriefed the wounds straight away no lignocaine as I told him just do it. Only bad bit was pressing on the nose oh Lala! But saved me a long wait. The consultant then rolled me himself for the ct scan. What lovely man he was.

But I was high as a kite on endorphins shock and adrenaline. Waiting in reception he walked in and said ct scan clear you can go home. I was a dikc head and announced to all reception “this man’s the best Dr in here” he beat a quick retreat.

Oh Paul, you are in the wars.

Just be very careful till you feel able to get back to normality.

I'll send you some soothing and comforting thoughts. :)

I’ve missed my footing a few times since my spacial awareness is still out. I’m walking only and even then no a lot.

I still think it’s a one off but always got to look on bright side.

I’m still capable of blabbing on about power suppliesLOL might be best to leave the very big heavy ones where I last put them Wherever they are!

The positive to take away is my nose has been broken when I did Karate and now it’s broken again it’s straight! Go figure!

Yes thank you both. Ive turned the corner. started my home excercise routine again. Its only half an hour of body weight excercise. But uts a start. 8t was 18th when I did it. I was on the way to the sauna at Crown Spa Hotel. So today went there first time back. All went well. Still got the buggish flap of skin held together with steri strips, but its time to trust my natural healing and not be scared anymore of the skin giving way. I think under the strips it would be fine to carry on the healing when they part ways with me.

So thats great. I’ll probably leave going back into peoples homes to next week. But its good progress, amd Im a lot better spirits.

a customer that rang yesterday told, “you need to take more water with it”. excellent! But no, I hadnt had a drink, and still havent. Ive felt like it but resisted. All I need it drown my sorrows! Bad move.

Too much pain and depression to face people. Visible wounds healing well.

Thank you

Yeh, look after yourself Paul - healing takes longer now we're older!
