#1 Genesis record store day

Post by Daniel Quinn »

As you probably know I have declared Genesis the best band ever and their is continuity from tresspass to no son of mine . So there’s no need to debate it.

They are a live band and I’ve got over 60 vinyl copies of genesis’s live albums . I was bought the Genesis live record store day , it just mama and turn it on , so I wasn’t to impressed.

Boy was I wrong , bloody hell is recorded well . This is how Genesis are supposed to sound in a stadium.

Buy it but hurry up there was only 3000 copies made.

Would we be cruel enough to duck a man who has only minimal use of one arm ?

Gentleman I’m beginning to think you don’t really know me !

I was illustrating the futility of purely opinion based arguments and telling anybody who may be interested that this record is well worth a listen.

How could we ?

As far as I know (and I may be wrong) no one on here has ever met you, or even seen your photo.

And you use a pseudonym.

You obviously don’t read my posts close enough.

And I don’t know what you do, who you are or your real name. I also it differs from forum to forum.

But its obvious people can make up their mind from what we post . I’m content with that , perhaps you need to meet people before showing the real you.

Like I give a toss. That’s what you took from my post. That’s awfully defensive !

Daniel, are you having a really bad day, or is what you've posted today the real you ?

I'm sure you could be much less offensive if you wanted.

😳

This a forum . It matters to me what you write. That’s it. I don’t care who you are , what kind of mood you were in or how much you had to drink. All I care about is the cogency and truthfulness of what you’ve written

Please reciprocate.

I have a soft spot for Genesis.
It's the bit at the bottom of the garden where the cats go to do their business.

Only joking.
I sort of lost interest in Genesis when Steve Hackett left, but in recent years have acquired the remainder of their catalogue.
Trespass through to Wind And Wuthering get played regularly here, the later stuff less so.

I just don’t understand the differentiation. But I’m beginning to accept Im the nutter.

I’ve got according to discogs 800 individual albums
and I listen to most. But if I had Genesis ,Gabriel and Springsteen I’d be happy. I’d sulk but live with just genesis

I've developed an itch..

I had Nursery cryme and selling england when I had vinyl but haven't listend to Genesis since PG left. Not sure why but every time I heard a later song it didn't move me at all....maybe I should take another look, but then there's so much other stuff going on that I wonder if I'll get the time.
