There's nothing at http://www.pmillett.com/ , has he been hosted by Intact more recently ?

I wasn't sure as the last few URI's in the forum was for Dave, and the links to his forum that were posted were out of date.

eBay shop looks like it's still operational:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/pmillett

Good job the site is archived, otherwise there's be no way to know the BOM for the various items on sale...

There's a lot of good stuff on that site, shame it's not being kept up.

I was asking about the Pete Millet site but had also same day tried intact audio and found difficulty but was able to get in. I cant recall whys and wherefores of the difficulty with Intact Audio as I somehow found a path there. But couldnt find the phono stage on the Wayback link. But havent yet looked at eBay after Mark said his ebay page is functional.

At the moment it was more or less research, not an intent to purchase so I’m cool. Darent buy a single thing. Except ordered an discreat opamp in kit form, no surface mount components, so shouldnt take me too long to assemble. I hope my Spitfire dac sounds better, only time will tell.

Its scary how something mentioned in here about hot air desoldering/soldering has spawned 50% of Youtubes suggestion ever since have been on surface mount techniques…… I know, its me accepting all cookies.

I swear though sometimes it puts on my feed something Ive only been thinking about…. Naomi says thats how good their trend following and predictive calculations are.

Pete Millett was doing maineaterday and has moved technical books and valve data. Maybe its my dyslexia but cant see the LR stage. though the board is on ebay no BOM there.

There is something odd going on with the site, it looks like explicitly loading the index page gets me somewhere http://www.pmillett.com/index.html

Thanks Nick Ive now got pdf’s of everything to do with the LR phono stage. Coolio. Another project I might never get round to. I have bigger non diy audio fish to fry. But I can dream! At least now I can see one of the targets.

@Paul you might want to jump on the AD797ANZ's that are currently in stock at Mouser:

https://www.mouser.co.uk/ProductDetail/ ... tblA%3D%3D

I got mine from a UK eBay seller but he seems to have sold out of them now.

The inductors are way less if you get them direct from Cinemag. I have a friend in the States who I can engage to buy some if needed.

I'd definitely recommend it but then I'm biased.
