This guy's chisels must be scary sharp, never seen anyone else slice wood like this

I know, I can't imagine how he can develop that level of skill. Carving the scallops and the ball and claw feet freehand is extraordinarily skillful.

That's the first thing I thought, as I started watching !
The next thing was a 'D'Oh !' moment , when I saw how he was using that nice piece of hardwood clamped on top, as tooling, to get the chisel to run straight as he went down on each face - wish I'd thought of that about 15 years ago....

So much about that PCB layout upsets my OCD, not least I don't know of any through hole, quad packages.

Another of the chap in Philip's very first post was a YouTube recommendation - he's glued up about a gazillion coloured pencils to turn a vase. He's mad. Inspired, but mad.
