Take care of yourselves Phil, hope you're both on the road to recovery soon.

Play some Barry Manilow or Des O'Connor, that'll soon have the bug scuttling off to find a new host.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Thanks again for the kindness shown to us.

Jean is 2 days in front of me Covid wise, and we are both over the worst now.

With luck, we might even be able to go to Potters next week if we both get 2 negative test before Monday morning.

The old chap over the road who I look in on quite a bit etc etc went down with the Omicrolurgi at the weekend is also back on his feet and he's older than you Phil and pretty fragile. This all bodes well!

Seems I'm immune..... ducks....

My sense of smell has gone for a burton. I have some strong eau de toilette (Indian night Jasmine) which I won in a raffle (that's my excuse) and I can't smell it at all.

Taste is not too bad, just had some stilton with a few sea salt savoury crackers and can taste at least 50% of normal.

Jeans been getting a "metallic" taste in the mouth, but I've not, so far.
