Praise for the concept and materials should be addressed to James D.

To be honest the photo Nick posted doesn't do justice to how these speakers look in the flesh. They do look rather stunning and even my wife thought they looked fantastic. The acrylic people who made the cabinets have done a rather splendid job. Well worth the long wait.
Oh and they do sound as good as they look. Even with the cobbled together XO that Nick and I put together for testing and the cheapo Monster XP-HP hook-up cable we used. Final hook-up wires (between XO and drivers) are intended to be pure silver solid wire sleeved in clear Teflon tubing, so as to be minimum visible as possible. So there is potential for improvements once Nick takes delivery of the Mundorf foil air-core inductors and assembles the components (what few there are) onto the bespoke acrylic tray Nick is having made.

Green LEDs are missing...
Seriously, this is beautifully executed. I am very interested in the sound reports in 2 or 3 months!

That's what I've been using with my Lowthers for years, I've never been tempted to spend on exploring alternatives.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

There isn't anything better to explore.

I don't understand Ray, Dennis was referring to Nick's new speakers.Ray P wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 8:09 pmTo disguise the heavy steel plate lining?Daniel Quinn wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 1:53 pm Very interesting indeed . Although for me I’d change the colour of acrylic .![]()

And I'd have blue Perspex if it were me.
