#1 Squeezebox radio feeds

Post by The Stratmangler »

I've been compiling a playlist of radio feeds to play via SB3.
The stations are accessd by use of the Mypicks plugin from www.radiofeeds.co.uk
The list so far is as follows...

Classic FM http://mediasrv-sov.musicradio.com/Clas ... WMExt=.asf

The Jazz http://mediasrv-sov.musicradio.com/jazz?MSWMExt=.asf

Planet Rock mms://81.20.48.50:80/PlanetRock?MSWMExt=.asf

Jazz FM mms://a419.v12429d.c12429.g.vm.akamaistream.net/7/419/12429/v0001

Virgin Classic Rock mms://wm.smgradio.com/vruk_vc_hi

I wondered if any forum members have any lists with interesting radio stations to ad to this list.

Chris :)

Just been listening to The Jazz, and noticed that the L/R channels are reversed.

Came to light with "Time Out" by the Dave Brubeck Quartet.

I have emailed them pointing out the issue - I suppose I'll find out if they care about it in time.

I still use the manual method for streaming.....

if anybody is interested, this is easily achieved by putting the .pls file(stream URL details) into the slimserver playlist directory. Selecting playlist from the slim menu will then allow you to choose any radio station for which you have entered a pls file.

Most of the uk pls files can be found here:

ps this works for pls files and m3u files.....will not work for proprietary streams such as real
There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be
