Oxymoron?
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

The thought had crossed my mind as well. All it would need to provide is evidence, that would be a start.

That looks great. Sensible sized bike too..
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

Thanks - agree about the size. Driven bigger and not as much fun as the smaller CC's on the Queens highway.

Yes, not good reading, especially the pair yesterday, father and son but they all know the risks!

Mike must have been inspired by the TT - I saw him going up the A1 at a helluva speed !

Ah, DTB - you remembered! I'm profoundly touched (or so my shrink told me). Thank you.

The photo says "1939" but in fact it is a 1936/8 model. Noted experts like wot I am can tell these things from, inter alia, the style of the front forks. The gaitered slider moved from the bottom (as shown and copied by the DKW/Bantam)) to further up the stanchion in 1939 to finally arrive at the top like other manufacturer's designs in 1948. It generally is supposed that the R12 Beamer was the first telescopic but it wasn't. Guess who? Right! Nimbus had this arrangement in production in early 1934.

Norra lotta people know that. :bounce:
