Well let me tell you about my motorcycle trip to east Suffolk yesterday.

You'd think riding a motorcycle in the current weather would be perfect right?

No. Imagine sitting in front of your oven with the door open. That's how hot the air was. Can't get away from it. Close to the Suffolk coast (Hollesley) there was a (very) small noticeable difference in temperature. I had water and Lucozade with me both of which were like they'd been heated on a stove. Never drunk hot Lucozade before. It's a novel experience.

Plus I lost the removable chin guard of my Nolan helmet - classic balls up (couple of others I know have done it) - after a lunch stop, took the helmet and it out of the sidecar to put on, put the helmet on but left the chin guard on the rear rack. Such was the temperature I had no idea it was missing. But I did wonder why I was occasionally being hit in the mouth with insects.

Anyway am here now, and camped under trees which is very nice. Thunderstorms on Wednesday night! Maybe.

I know someone who set off on his motorbike test without putting his helmet on.
The examiner allowed him to restart with the helmet on, made him do the whole test, then failed him. Fair enough really.

Hi Mike -great trip!? Are you anywhere near the lovely villages of Kersey, Boxford, Lindsey and Lavenham? Stunning... much cooler today anyways here in Beds.

A great personal achievement today....a Silver Machine gets loaded into a Ford B-Max! :)

Is it possible to get anymore Hawkwind-y?!

Look at the way it fitted in too, sideways through...

That was a odd advert. Remember it was a shock first time I saw it. Of course the silver machine would go sideways (through time).

The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number
