no no nick me owd fruitcake it's a fact..after almost 40 years of messing with hifi i came to the conclusion about 12 years ago it's a conspirsory to fleece you all of ya cash.
needle drop thread on pink fish confirmed it's all total bollox..i listened intently to thousands of needle drops through my cans..even the sme model 30 sounded no different to and other deck.
only one deck stood out as kinda ok.
technics sp10 with slate plynth
sme series v 12 inch with silver wiring( arm wiring is what makes a difference in arms imho) not the arm itself
koetsu cartridge

that deck stood out as ok..still not as good as flac fils..i have tested my gyro sme series v with flac..flac slaughtered it

get some needle drop recording posted up lads if u rekon your deck is the dogs danglies..coz i garantee u it aint

technics 1200 is a good sounding deck..if u can put up with the direct bearing noise.
just forget vinyl ffs.it's all cack..lossles files cant be beat..if u rekon it can i will need proof via some needle drop recordings.
look i heard a 40k mcintosh system last year in uppsala..sounded ok..kinda like 50 quid worth better than a 500 quid system..if your so fekin retarded to pay 40k for that bag o shyte u should be taken off the streets
