Bought from a member of another forum - a NOS 401. Can't be many of these floating around.
Will be sent to Loricraft for a service before use.
As can be seen from the lack of wear on the thrust pad and spindle, this is indeed an unused example-

Yeah, be interesting to hear how a Loricraft serviced new one compares to the one I have now. Will outlast me too!
In other news, recently heard Nick's new little mains regenerator on Andrew's 401. We were all surprised by the improvement it made, well worthwhile methinks.
