I must extend my thanks to the Origin Live tonearm , without whom ( sale ) none of this would have been possible

It's really good that Michael Hedges album.
My copy didn't cost anything like the price of an Origin Live tonearm

You wouldn't expect me to reveal everything in one posting, would you Mike ?

Is it that special audiophile dust you've sprinkled on the rack?
You've bought a tub of audiophile dust

Finally got a 4-pack of Raytheon 5687's , so will try & have a short session later this evening doing a first comparison against the Philips. Ah, this valve-swapping takes me back to the old WAD amp days !

Wowww ....
There is a significant improvement with the Raytheons.
I'm hearing some stuff on Bowie CD's I've not noticed on Vinyl
This unit really is tremendous.
Some of you with DIY DACs based on the AK4396 might want to try an output stage like this one .....
