It's really good that Michael Hedges album.
My copy didn't cost anything like the price of an Origin Live tonearm :lol:

Finally got a 4-pack of Raytheon 5687's , so will try & have a short session later this evening doing a first comparison against the Philips. Ah, this valve-swapping takes me back to the old WAD amp days !

There is a significant improvement with the Raytheons.
I'm hearing some stuff on Bowie CD's I've not noticed on Vinyl :shock:
This unit really is tremendous.
Some of you with DIY DACs based on the AK4396 might want to try an output stage like this one .....
