The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

I have never understood Gong's music, but nevertheless it is sad that an artist of the genius of Daevid Allen has been taken from us. I can appreciate the sadness that fans feel about his departure. If it is anything like the sense of loss I felt at the death of Edwin Starr in the early 2000s then I understand completely.
