#1 Preview Issue With Chrome

Post by simon »

Anyone else have a problem when previewing a post using Chrome? I get a blank window with no text on both Win 7 and Android. If I backup and submit it posts okay.

The preview works fine with IE11 on the same Win 7 box. Anyone else using Chrome?

I use Chrome.

Must admit, I don't normally use the "preview" facility, but I will now.

No problems encountered. :)

Likewise - use Chrome exclusively (Windows 7 here) - just posted about a Thorens TD160 with photos and it previewed perfectly.

Shouldn't be a problem because it's the page that makes the preview box, so should be bog common HTML.

Simon are you using an ad blocker? Possible it's interpreting the style as 'not allowed'.

I have the odd prob with preview on another forum, works only when it feels like it, will have to try it with the ad blocker turned off...

I use Adblock Plus and it does not cause a problem with Chrome on here.

On Jeans laptop I have problems accessing the Mercedes Benz website with Chrome. But no such problems on this old laptop (Vista) or my PC (Windows 7). :?

Interesting. No, no adblocker just Avast on the Win 7 machine. I only rebuilt it just before Christmas so its running pretty "unadulterated". But I have the same problem on an Android tablet with no adblocking etc. Odd.

And I've just previewed and it's working now. Curiouser and curiouser.

Maybe was a prob at their end? And was fixed.

Could have been. One of those odd IT things that seem to right themselves.

And I didn't even need to get my magic runes out and have a dark magic ceremony to fix it, which was nice.
