Now I am getting worried about him. So that's an SB and super-regulated PSU all in a box....very impressed....you'll be having a tidy up next then?

I think its passed the point where tidy is possible without removing walls.

It won't last, its not my SB.

Nice, but you know I don't mind the SB's own case, I was just going to put the PSU in its own box, when I get around to it.

The main reason it was modded was to add a pulse TX to the sp/diff out and replace the RCA with a 75R BNC, that would have been a lot harder in the existing (SB2) case.

Yes, true the digital connection on them is not ideal and while I like the SB I'm kinda thinking of using a small PC and USB in to supply the digits to a DAC. The other way is Tony's solution which would be a good one box solution using direct from the I2S, yes I think that's what I think Tony did, anyway. How did you cut the face-plate?

Carefully :-)

Jig saw the rough hole, then finish up with a file.

Nice work Nick, where did you get the case from?

I need to re-house my rather sorry looking SB

This is it part way through assembly. ALW SR &Tent re-clock. I'm using the TOSLINK o/p as I find it a touch clearer than the coax....
