Nah, it's all scratched and someone has been playing it with oily hands, and it hasn't even got the spring cover on the back

Got to admit it's a proper bit of history.
Looking at the photo of the fingerboard I noticed that there is a played in scallop in the third fret area.
If those frets are original then they're in remarkably good condition.

I'd dearly love to have this too, but the asking price is more than I could afford - knock a zero off the end and it's a maybe.

he says the frets are original which is remarkable as the neck has seen a bit of use, there is another on ebay for offers on 9 grand but it's had a lot of work and isn't original

God knows what the Hank Marvin one is worth or the David Gilmour one

I know the Marvin one has had a fair bit of work over the years to keep it playing, but could have been put back to original now,
