If you are to build a pair these fine performing simple BR cabinets then double up the front baffle, keeping the internal dims as drawn. Single 18mm ply is simply not sufficient to allow enough depth of baffle for fixings. The driver frame rebate is 12mm deep!
Line all the internal walls of the cabinet with 12mm thick wool felt (recycled carpet underlay), bar the inside of the front baffle. For best bass performance place close to a rear wall.
