Awww, thats a great album to play along with. My step-son and I used to jam along with RATM!
Bullet in the Head has an ace bass riff, root maj3 and flat 7. Loads of really nicely recorded Stingray Bass sounds all over that album.
3.49 ... That bass sound is a good enough reason to leave frets in a bass for me!!!
Ooooo, I feel all 'angsty' now... I'm gonna go and smash summat up!

Last night the guy who previously played Fender Bass, brought instead a Takemine TB10 Fretless bass which can be played over the shoulder or upright. He played it over the shoulder. If you want my humble opinion he should stick to the Fender.

Oh, no !
I was expecting some entertainment on a Thurday evening, especially as I'm off now for 10 days with a hol in the Lakes . I had that 'Friday Feeling', but on a Thurday , now you've spoiled it
I will just go off and listen to 'Light as a Feather' with Flora Purim, as I believe he's on there...
I will do some research and get back to you .

Oh Dave, that's more like it , that's what I needed !
I feel so mellow now, I think I shall grow an Afro while I'm in the Lake District .
God that 'Old Grey Whistle Test' logo gets to me, you know. I feel such a strong desire to go back and re-experience the 1970's .
I know there were a few power cuts, but with a satin shirt, it wouldn't be so bad .
It's so great to see people doing clever things and having fun . Where can you see that on telly these days - either of those ?

Have no fear Dave, they are already in my permanent archive . Enjoy ! But really, there's a lot more they have - I just wish they'd release the entire 'king OGWT archive, even if it was 20 discs and cost £150, let's get it sorted, really, please . Every week you see new bits & pieces on BBC 4 , why are they torturing us ???Dave the bass wrote: Have you seen this Mr J? -> http://www.bbcshop.com/music/old-grey-w ... bcdvd1867/
