Of all the songs in this thread, this is the one I forgot. Unforgivable. :D

A brilliantly, intelligent, dark song about the questionable value of protests.

I've just dug out my Edmundo Ross 2 CD set, and playing disc 1 on MoFo. :D

AND, I've been on Ebay and ordered two Matt Monro CDs. Thanks for reminding me Steve. :)

Just got round to playing these. The 2 CD set disc 1 is crap, sounds like it was recorded on a mobile phone from the back row of an auditorium.

The other disc, the best of Matt Monro is good. I noticed that Mike H is also a fan, or was at one time.

Here we go again :D

I love this.
It’s just a good tune and a great song, unlike “Knock Three Times” or the godawful “Tie a yellow ribbon....”

Poor old Dawn with a fungal infection eh! Not what I'd choose to sing about.

Or am I missing something. It's raining on Windermere Blues...
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

As MOR artists go, Johnny was up there with the best of them.

The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

Made for valve amps. and IMHO, the best version of this song. Beats Karen Carpenter, for me anyway. YMMV OF COURSE
