I prefer Edmondson Ros!
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

Thoroughly enjoyed this the other night:

The Girl from Ipanema: Brazil, Bossa Nova and the Beach: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b07mlkzl via @bbciplayer

Successfully got Jane tuned in to cool Latin sounds, which I didn't expect. Not usually her sort of thing. Must admit to a bit of a soft spot for Katie Derham, too. Wonder if she's related to a well-known forum member? :D
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

Great programme Shane, thanks. :)

Here's a bit of Japanese prog lounge from Sushi 2003.
Great video to go with it.

Talking of soft spots.
I have always had one for Swing Out Sister.

Here's Corrine Drewery in full voice and at her classy best, doing "Somewhere In The World"

A much underrated band in this country; the rest of the world begs to differ.

Oddly enough, there was an Edmundo Ros single in the batch of 78s we bought this weekend. Too burnt out from soldering to go see which one though.

Another gem from my vast collection of easy listening, this time a lightly latin brazilian blend:

Wondrously kitsch and fab dahlings. I dare you to try to keep still.
