Hi,
my main interest is DIY tube audio. I just posted in the most recent thread on electrostatic headphones; hope I won't get into trouble by trying to appending a website address. I mostly listen to classical music (particularly early music) with my STAX Gamma and my homebuilt Kevin Gilmore all-triode AC coupled amp.
Many of my amp designs remain in the simulation stage (I use TINA-TI); but I am still satisfied putting just an occasional design into hardware...
Warm regards,
Fred

Hi Fred often thought about headphones again, left the last one's, Sennheisers, back home in my bedroom when I left home 30 years ago and have been lucky to have a listening room since, but maybe there's something different to be had from phones?

Hi Richard,
Warm regards,
Fred
I used the same brand when I was in school many many years ago.Richard wrote:..., Sennheisers, ...
Well, it's a completely different experience. If you want unusual clarity and don't mind the "in your head" listening experience, electrostatic headphones are the way to go. Correction: ...are one way to go......but maybe there's something different to be had from phones?
Warm regards,
Fred
