Hey Dave,
Try turning up at a gig with a 1x4 cab  Wouldn't your fellow band members be sending for the men in white coats?

Hey, if you called your band base 4, then you could use 4 (decimal) = 10 (base 4), and then it's all technically correct and stuff...

Anyway, some interesting kit there. It'd be interesting to hear, if you were to bring it all over to a meet (pretty please) :D

Welcome to the forums

I didn't know Mr Marconi personally.

I drove past the Marconi (as was) factory tonight on my way to meet a Northern chap and exchange a HUGE wad of notes for my KLS 3 speakers.

Hey DTB - I use 1x15, 2x10 and a tweeter - 4 speakers - does that count (Peavey rig 500w into 2ohms)? Keeps the flares flapping

Philip - have you got enough for that new conrod yet? Fortunately all mine needs is a brake master cylinder overhaul and I'll be back out.

Bassists, bikers and (audio) builders. There's got to be something behind it all...........

4" rule only applies to domestic HiFi reproduction... for gigging bass....anything goes.

I bike too, 104K mile W650 will be on't eBay soon with a 99p start whilst I pound the mettle on my thumping new Honda CBF 125...

Yes, the Tri-BSA was repaired in the end.

1 used con rod.
1 used cylinder barrel.
1 used cylinder head.
2 used pistons + .020 to suit barrel.
big ends + various gaskets.

I changed the cams for slightly less racy ones, as I already had the racing cam followers. Need more "grunt" than BHP for scrambling.

Just got to get fit for the new season now.
