WAV file editing
#1 WAV file editing
Would like to download a simple WAV file editor. Mainly topping and tailing and tidying up, nuthin' fancy. Any ideas? Free would be great, simple and easy to use better. Thanks in advance

Don't ask me how to use it - I use summat else.
Audacity is free.
And it's got nice thing or two built in, such as frequency analysis.

Another vote for Audacity for a freebie open-source piece of software it's very good indeed.
It's quite small as well, shouldn't take long to download, even using BT.
(And to think I almost succumbed to a BT 'Infinity' sales blurb - eek! BT have always been rubbish, I have just seen more confirmation of this fact).

Thanks y'all. Audacity duly downloaded, 13 track Christmas CD compilation (vinyl to WAV) completed today. Not too horrendous a process - added fitness programme caused by turntable in one room, computer in t'other, with 10m of cable strung through the windows (that's windows windows, not Windows tm).
