QNAP Death

Bum. Just lost another power supply, an expensive Maplins one. Wish I could find the problem as this is going to get expensive...

Dunno. Why's it taking out the QNAP PS but none others (touch wood!)? The Squeezebox for instance.

That is a very good question.


Might seem a bit obvious but have you checked plugs and sockets for loose terminal screws? Was caught out like that once, but can't remember what it was. Oh yes I can it was a lamp kept blowing. Not quite the same I know but...

I'm assuming that you've contacted QNAP about the problem, Simon.
Any ideas from them as to what could be killing your PSUs ?
