Hi guys.

I'm not new to audio, but new to the forum.

I've built a pair of full range+woofer speakers, modified a few amps, and look forward to contributing.

Hi Chris and welcome.

I'm only just down the road from you in Rossendale.

Yes, you are.

Coincidentally, I go skiing down there occasionally.

Yep, Toppsy keeps complaining about the snow interfering with his speaker building  It must be a Rossendale thing even if the place sounds like it belongs in Lord of the Rings. We have a couple of ski slopes down here. They were recently closed owing to heavy snow

Welcome!

Funny that, ski slopes don't work with snow on

I noticed they didn't work with snow on.......

When you go over it, it gets compacted to ice, then you can slide over it with zero control. Great fun, till you hit something.

-17 is pretty cold. Guess I'll know how cold that is soon - going to Austria with school, skiing for the first week of Easter.

Cor you're young to be doing all this speaker and amp fettling stuff if you're still going to school :-)

Welcome BTW.

-17 doesn't exist in the Sunny South East.
