I noticed they didn't work with snow on.......
When you go over it, it gets compacted to ice, then you can slide over it with zero control. Great fun, till you hit something.
-17 is pretty cold. Guess I'll know how cold that is soon - going to Austria with school, skiing for the first week of Easter.

I remember years ago being in some place one really frosty Winter, if you stood on the grass, it didn't bend
