In rather slushy felixstowe up on the hill (fortunately :D)

God, we've had the snow here this last week - and we normally boast about the little micro-climate the Ipswich crowd don't get.....

Thanks everyone :)

I think I've lurked here before, but lack of posting probably got my monika removed. The site was in "Favourites" I discovered...

For those that don't know me, I was in the HiFi trade for over thirty years (with much Linn/Naim experience from the good old bad old days) and dealt with a pretty wide range of goodies on and off. These days, I'm a TA and Cover Supervisor at local schools and looking to further my own education (as if belonging to a few audio forums ain't enough already  )

Currently I'm running a hodge-podge system of ancient gear which actually gives much musical enjoyment and hey, I'm playing vinyl again whilst still enjoying CD and radio ;)

Hi Dave! Intros probably not needed by now! I've yet to get really stuck in though I joined a while ago for some 401 opinions (Don't start! ) - quite a few familiar faces!

We crop up all over don't we??? :P

I wish I could get my 401 back, but along with so much else, it's lost in the mists of time and failing memories now :(

All is not lost regarding top quality vinyl playback though (even though the Dual 701 constantly surprises me). I dare not say more, but I'll be screaming from the rooftops on here and AOS if all comes to fruition - and it doesn't involve idlers or anything made by Linn or Technics....

Welcome! I've only been here a week and very friendly it is too. Was up your way last November buying stuff from the Lowestoft Sanyo factory that had closed :( You lot in the East always get better weather than us in the South West, the rain runs out by the time it gets to you.

OOhh.. now that sounds exciting.... I shall not even try to speculate! But of course it won't have a "rubber band" will it, we all know that wouldn't work at all!
