Hi Scott
Ah an alternate to the frugal horns I have a pair of 126s screaming for cabs I intend going with the frugal but having trouble finding a supplier for descent plywood and then getting the stuff back home I look forward to your new idea while I fig out how to get the plywood home with out transport

Hi Scott
I know its early days and you won’t have much of a chance to now but what is you opinion on this speaker working in the normal poison on the back wall perhaps using the frugal horn deflectors I like your posted plans It reminds me of those artworks that play tricks on you eye

The boxes were so well built i kept holding off on burning them. At this summers VI diyFEST we found that the 16 ohm Coral holey basket 103As worked very well in them (as well as the Fostex FE103 Nagaoka-style horn), so both those boxes were saved from the fire.Scottmoose wrote:I believe Dave (P10) has burned a pair
The FE126 really needs a horn-like box (i say horn-like because they seem suited to a BVR as well -- Harvey & these for example).
One more session and i'll have plans and a 3D visualization done for these. Do note that the space that is shown as a void in the main chamber is going to be best used as braces.
This one will be a very interesting excercise,,, it sure is a simple build.
