#1 SlimServer on Wii

Post by Neal »

Well....not quite...just realised our daughter had downloaded the Browser 'channel' on the Wii this means I can now control the 3 squeezeboxes in the house including my main system one using port 9000 of the server IP address.....gives another dimension to controlling the SB....also the Nintendo DS with add on browser pack also works as does the new DSi with inbuilt browser...its a very good alternative to the Logitech 'Controller'....

Another plus for me with the Wii is BBC iPlayer works! So if we miss a program we can surf to the BBC site and watch the program again....OK quality leaves something to be desired but.....it works!

Alex installed Linux on his PS3 the other day, I should have tried to put slimserver on it as well :-)
