Nick, What LP's did you buy Mr G? Any good?
Deep Purple: Made in Japan
Michelle Shocked: The Texas Campfire Tapes
The Who By Numbers
Miles Davis: Isle of Wight Concert
Steve Hillage: Green
Roy Buchanan: Polydore Special
Robert Plant, Alison Krauss: Raising Sand

Just a few patches, got about 1" here now.
We've got a garden full of it. I can't get into work today (pity...). All trains to Lundun Village (The Duckpond Line) are suspended and it'd be daft to attempt the journey on my Motorbike.

....and I've got a broken fingernail.

The Red Cross are doing a parcel drop later on in the day, this IS the South East after all

The duck pond is long and narrow. My hovel is to the left with my summer home (Romany dont ya know  ) in the front garden.

Anyone ever heard of a valve amp in a caravan ? (with mains hook up of course :) )

No, I will leave you on this bit, and keep you blocked from seeing the hidden good part of the site.

Oooh, you're a heathen ;-). Just add a little Jack Johnson and you're a happy bunny . The Texas Campfire Songs is an interesting recording - recorded on a Sony Walkman Pro with lorries passing in the distance. Haven't heard it in years, I'll bring it to a fest just for you Dave :D.

BTW, I thought you'd had a lot of snow in the SE? Is it the wrong kind of snow on the train lines? I've driven past more this morning . Prepare for endless stories on the news tonight of how bad London is...

Having said that, I'm going home early pm to try to beat the really heavy stuff that's forecast for later on.

Well there you go, got as far as the picture, didn't bother to read the rest! Looked like a big black hole anyway, that'd be the reason then

Green by Hillage :D
Top marks there .
Were any of those audiophile approved or were they from the 2nd hand boxes ?

I'm going to do a comparison of the 'Volunteers' original vs. Speaker's Corner this evening .

Some light snow here, less than an inch has stuck so far there .
Must be blizzards on the mountains though - been gusting to 38mph on the coast this afternoon .
