The white noise was just when playing moozic and was from both digi and analogue outs.

yep but try aligning a cart with the tt in a small alcove with a child yapping at you and tugging on yor trouser leg
or troubleshooting a hum loop, or trying to set the vta correctly or set the bounce on an lp12...........................
