Many thanks for your very kind and understanding replies. Actually, it's not a real issue for me. In reflection I think I messed up at the time, but I can't change what I did. I've moved on and have properly worked through the grieving process to reach acceptance. I don't have any issues about my parents deaths. However, time has passed and I've move on. It's too late for correction for her friend's on things said at the time.
I messed up, spoke like a prat but can't change what I did. Not the end of the world. Life is all about learning regardless of age.
