I was looking for a valve cd player, does anybody have experience or recommendations.

There are quite a few Chinese valve players around,dunno which are any good.If you could DIY,the lampizator site has a lot of good ideas.

Yes. I owned one.... That's why I recommended it. I sold it as I needed cash at the time. Wish I still had it, but I have something else now instead. Non-valve... so far, anyway.

They are well made and have the same DAC as the Chord systems. They are upgradeable via software updates. Quite nicely put together and I really enoyed mine.

My friend has one of the new EAR valve based CD players. That's not bad. Then there is also the Ah! Njoe Tube player. There are a raft of good Chinese players too such as the Shanling. You can basically stick a valve based outut stage on almost any CD player or DAC as Mr. Lampizator has shown.

Worth auditioning a few of them to see what you prefer though.
