Hi Steve,

If I wasn't over in Manchester I'd take up your offer. :(

When I get round to finishing my 6C33 I'll be happy to host a West Yorkshire meet if there is any interest. Probably be just into the new year...

Have a great time everyone.

Hi,

would like very much to join y'all on Saturday, but unfortunately I'll be too busy building the Welborne Labs Remote Volume and wiring up the pair of SILK TVA's to a Seiden 23-way switch.

Simon,

I'll be up for a meet your place when you're ready. Could bring along the WL Remote Volume and the SILK TVA's.

Have a great day.

Yes thank you Steve for your generosity. I was really glad to have come and see how much further the speaker goal posts have escaped my grasp.

The amplifiers people make these days are also to a very high standard. Most peopl's amps matched their speakers.

Also from me Steve, I had a great day and the hospitality was brill.

congrats to Nick for stealing the show..again, I thought the 2A3 was fantastic, and with your usual modesty we nearly didn't get to see it. It seemed like you only just remembered it was in the car when the party was nearly over, false modesty or what?....I am reminded about what Boris Karlof was purported to have said at Bela Lugosi's funeral: 'Come on Bela get up now, tell us you were only kidding'...

thanks again Steve.

Hi Steve

Thanks for hosting a great day out. It was great to her everyones gear. The standard keeps increasing. Because of these meets we get to hear how other people's equipment sounds and compares to our own.

Simon's 45 amp driving my Metronomes was really rather good. I'd always thought they would not be efficient enough to properly deal with a 45 driving them. Seems they are a lot more efficient than I had previously thought.

Looks like I missed another fab amp from Nick again.
