step down transformer

with a bit of luck I might own a 120v turntable,

it begs the question is it ok to run it from a Maplins step down or should I look at building one, if so what do I need? is it just a case of getting a tx with a 120v secondary?

Should be fine with a stepdown (IMHO).

Yeah I would just get the Maplin's one too we use them at work for some gear and they're fine.
