I have a suspicion its just looking for a cover,jpg, or maybe just a *.jpg, the directories I have then in the duet controller I have of Ian's at the moment finds them.

A useful utility I found is this:

http://digg.com/music/Album_Art_Aggregator_1.4_RELEASED

It can scan your music directory, find albums without artwork and then it'll search Amazon (co.ok, com, de and jp) and show you up to three found images that you can then choose from.

It's not fully automated but it's much quicker than doing it by hand.

There is also this;

http://www.codeplex.com/maa. But maybe this only works on WinXP onwards...(ie .dotNet 3.5/ VS2008)

Cheers,
Tony
ps the download link didn't work for me just now. I have the setup files from when I downloaded it previously if anyone wants them.

The Art Aggregator is a really useful link Tony, thanks a lot! I followed the link from there and downloaded no problem, then ran through each album picking the most appropriate of the three images. Dead easy. Then I just needed to clear the library and do a full rescan for it to update (look for new and changed music doesn't update the photos).

Simples.

Sorted out my problem - I've renamed a couple of images not embedded into the music files as "Folder" then did a complete rescan, and lo and behold they appeared in the SC GUI.

Checking on some of the images I'd already embedded I did the rename thing too. On performing a back step back to main directory I noticed that the image filled the entire folder icon - before the image had occupied just one quarter of the folder icon.

Looks as though SC doesn't recognise the small images.

Chris :)
