I was introduced to her a couple of days ago by an old friend. Hadn’t heard of her before but apparently she’s sufficiently well known to have featured on Strictly, which having listened a lot now I find surprising. Didn’t know they were into jazz/soul stuff.

On Apple Music there is a deluxe version of the album. Its much better. When I first replied Id only heard the non deluxe version. It comes alive in the deluxe version.

Anyway like you Im glad to have found it. I think the deluxe has better musicians accompanying her and her voice also sounds more like a sorted person the original sounds a bit like someone looking for a treet to throw a rope over.
