I received the government red weather warning message on my phone last evening and we've had our hatches well and truly battened down overnight and this morning! No damage for me to worry about but lots of fences down in neighbours' gardens and lots of debris and detritus on the road.

I've been soldering up the EAR834 phono board this morning but I'm going to head out and meet Darragh after some lunch.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Have all the Audio-Talk Christmas buttons been swiped to the 'on' position?!

We've got Santas galore, snow, Nipper's LED nose and a timer this year.

Awww, I like it.

Where's Nipper, even?

Hmmm, makes no difference for me.

I used the laptop yesterday, something I do rarely, and Christmas had definitely arrived :-D

Meredith and I are celebrating this week - after years of expense and the stress of several visa renewal cycles, we have finally levelled her up to Indefinite Leave to Remain! :D

Such a load off our minds - next step, applying for full UK citizenship although that won't happen for a while yet - other things that we need to get done first.
