Been into the office today which means my weekly trip to the record shop. Got my walk from the office to there down to 10 minutes by finding a little shortcut out of the business park, that means i dont have to navigate all the way round. Gives me a couple if minutes more browsing time :D

Todays black plastic.
Santana - borboletta
Santana - welcome
Spyro gyra - spyro gyra
Split enz - true colours

The guys at work were having bets on wether they would recognise what i came back with this time.
They did. This time..

Didnt buy this one, one of my colleagues at work is clearing her dads flat unfortunately, as he has had to go into a home due to alzheimers.

She fetched me a copy of madman across the water from his collection because she knows ive been buying elton john records. I came back with captain fantastic the week before. Its a djm first press, an embossed sleeve, and if you hold it up to a light its not actually black its translucent dark red.
She also fetched a load of singles too

They still have bets on what I'll come back with at lunchtime, 'some sort of weird jazz' is the most often selected option..... winner gets jaffa cakes. Our DD was in the office this week, he won the jaffa cakes :D

It was dave bruebeck - two generations of bruebeck

Still surprises me how many people are interested in what ive bought, pretty much everyone likes to see and have a look at the sleeve art, there arent many younger staff, most of us are 40 plus but the ones in their 20s are just as interested
