I believe Alex when he says that he had no access to these pioneering papers.

Personally, Alex's work inspired me to build 3 of his amplifiers back in 2013. They still are all in service today and continue to offer very high quality playback in my main system. I think that it is proper to give credit where it is due.

Otto Schade mentioned the "inverse voltage feedback" scheme in February of 1938:

Alex maintained that it was not the same thing. I did not do any further research as Alex had a schematic that worked with modern parts and I was happy with the results.
