#1 Ebay charges.

Post by pre65 »

I recently sold a motorcycle gearbox on Ebay.

The winning bidder wanted it delivered, and I used Parcel2Go to arrange the shipping.

On the Ebay auction page I quoted UK shipping at £12, to give bidders an idea of shipping costs.

On my Ebay June statement of selling charges, they have charged me 10% of the £12 shipping charge = £1.20

I don't suppose it's worth me getting on to Ebay, for the sake of £1.20 it's not worth the agro, but I'm not impressed. :x

Yep, I get you Phil. It’s the same nonsense that gripes me when sellers add VAT to postage which is not applicable.

Talking of Ebay, has anyone had problems paying for items today ?

I tried to checkout on an item, and it tells me to select "payment option", but when I select Paypal it still tells me to select "payment option" and won't let me proceed. :?

I'll try again later.
