Specifically he wanted a Fender "American Professional Transparent Red Telecaster"
So, last weekend he took the train to Liverpool and walked up ( he said it's quite a way out of the centre up a big hill ) to Rimmers music shop.
When he got there, there seemed to be no telecasters anywhere to be seen, despite there being plenty of stock in the shop.
Asking the staff, they said unfortunately someone broke into the shop the previous week and stole all the Telecasters !
