I have a feeling Philip Ramsey might do something similar on the driving stage of his 833a SET amp.

Well I have one of the cables made up.
No doubt the amp will start doing a Norman Collier, in between bursts of 100Hz hum.
That's what the turns down the club usually end up doing once all their balanced line pro gear is connected up.
Usually happens five minutes before they are on, after the sound check is completed :lol: :lol:
