Yes, Rapid would be cheaper, you could use a 55 + 55 secondary to give you your 110v

I just checked, its

3.15-0-3.15 3A

350-0-350 180ma

3.15-0-3.15 4A

5v 4A

So that should do the job.

Yep, thats another anode follower Clive has posted. Yes, Andrew, the CF is low output impedance. So thats another choice for you. One of the advantages of the AF though, is the valve cathode can be near 0v as normal, so you don't need an additional cap on the input as the input sums to a virtual ear...

Also remember the typical electro has at least a +- 20% tollerance. So that 56uf cap will be somewhere between 67 and 46 anyway.

Thats exactly what I intend to do with the Slagle AVC (which is waiting for me to pay the inport duty at the moemnt, so should be heare tomorrow). I intend to use that d3a anode follower I had at Witham to drive the autoformer, and see how that goes. The AF I built with d3a has just less than unity ...

It means that unlike a normal transformer where there is galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary, a autoformer is connected to the incoming mains. Lets say for example, you connect the 0v rail of your power suppy to the signal ground of your amplifier (as is normal). Then you wire the m...

Yep, I have consistently (at least twice) seen this happen, the addition of a small resistor and then a cap makes the reg sound much better. But then of course the cap becomes important. No free lunch :-( EDIT: I miseed out the important thging, the small resistor. I am using a R22 on the 6c33c, and...

I would do as you suggest, 2A for ECC 7A for 6as7, then you can elevate the heaters individually.

I would get the netgear working wired first (assuming you have a ethernet interface and connector).

I don't know that router, does it have a usb interface as well?

What I am suggesting, is get the transmitter talking to your adsl line first, then the PCI card will have a signal to connect to.

I think I have a 350-0-350, that should do for the moment with maybe a cap to boost the voltage.

Honda even have one that doesn't make cars
But at least that one might have been named in honour of Isaac. Honda say not, but its a hell of a coincidence.
